ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK

The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen follows the journey of Kelsea Raleigh Glynn, who is the seventh Queen of the Tearling. Raised in isolation by Carlin and Barty, Kelsea learns history, languages, and the importance of her future role. She returns to the Keep at nineteen years old to take her rightful place on the throne and is immediately confronted with the corruption that has taken hold in the kingdom.
