#3 The artist is a collector. He only collects things that he really loves. Your job is to collect good ideas, and the more good ideas you collect, the more you can choose from to be influenced by.

#4 You should try to study one thinker, writer, artist, or activist you love. Then find three people that thinker loved, and learn everything about them. This will help you feel part of a creative lineage.
