'Do I Like It?' tries to flip the classical format of movie and music reviews with a passionate, 'fan-first' approach. We believe that in this age of the internet, no one is an authority on what is considered good art. We are just fans who are passionate about content. And 'Do I Like It?' is a fan telling another fan why they like or dislike a piece of content. No unnecessary high brow snobbery.

Prateek Lidhoo is a podcaster, rapper, music producer, screenwriter and an overall nerd about all audio visual content. His hobbies include analysing films frame-by-frame to extract the last ounce of subtext from them. With this podcast, he likes to maintain a fun, yet passionate lens with which he talks about movies and music.

Vikram Vedha: Same Film with a Different Soul

In this episode of Do I Like It, I want to talk about a song that's close to my heart because of two reasons: 1: I love Kashmiri music, and 2: I love wedding music. And Kya Karie Korimol by Alif, Noor Mohammad, and Aashima Mahajan is the perfect blend of the two. 

The rendition of Alif's original song talks about a wedding, where all the father is worried about is whether there is enough food to feed everyone. On the other hand, the daughter's mind is racing about the changes that are about to come in her life.
