This is a self-help hypnotherapy recording for children aged from ten years and above who are still wetting the bed at night. It will help your child: - Imagine their mind as mental computer - Make their mind and body work together - Reset their bladder control function - Take control of their bladder during sleep - Wake if need to use toilet - Awaken to a warm dry bed in morning

There are many reasons for children wetting the bed and it is useful to first check out with your medical practitioner that there is no underlying medical cause. Quite often one of the contributing factors is your child's expectation that they will wet the bed, since this has been going on so long, and they may also suffer from a lack of belief that this is something over which they can take control. This recording addresses these issues and gives powerful suggestions for positive expectancy and taking control. This is achieved with ideas and imagery suitable for the age group. Although some children respond immediately, it is quite normal to expect progress over six to eight weeks or maybe even longer. Play the recording at bedtime. Your child can relax and drift off to sleep at the end. If you find that they fall asleep more or less immediately, let them listen at a quiet time earlier on before bedtime instead, or as well as, when they go to bed. The recording should be in addition to, rather than instead of, any usual bedtime rituals or reading so that they don't feel deprived in any way. Research shows that when a person first acts out each positive step in their imagination, it dramatically increases the likelihood of their success in the real world.
