Summary of Brian Christian's The Most Human Human

#1 I wake up five thousand miles from home in a hotel room with no shower, and I take a bath. I eat some slightly ominous-looking tomatoes and baked beans, and four halves of white toast that come on a tiny metal rack. I step out into the salty air and walk the coastline of the country that invented my language.

#2 The Turing test is an annual event in which human judges try to determine which is which: a human and a computer program. The top computer programs are awarded the Most Human Computer title.

#3 The Loebner Prize is a Turing test that is held annually to see if humans can distinguish between real and fake conversations with computer programs. I wanted to be a confederate in order to defend the human race.

#4 The Turing test is a test of how human you are. It is meant to evaluate how human you are, and it implies that being human is more than just showing up. I believe that being human is more than just showing up.
