Perch fishing is rising like a rocket in popularity and it's so much fun. Many young people become perch specialists and fish only for these striped ones. When, in addition, all these anglers use Catch & Release, the great fishing we do have will remain. That is how it should be! For a few years I have fished significantly more for perch and at the same time tested and evaluated many methods and baits both in shallow and deep water.

Fishing deep for perch was difficult before the fishfinder made its entrance, but nowadays using digital equipment you can find the large schools and fish with the method and bait you prefer. I show how perch schools can look like on different fishfinders and teach you what methods and baits will make them attack.

In the book Fishing with the family, you can get advice how to fish from the shore and in a boat. Perhaps float fishing is the most simple and effective method?
