Princess Sojourn

An Amazon princess fights to be queen.

The Greek gods have confined us to the isle of Azure Blue. That’s why this Olympiad makes all my amazon nymph sisters so excited when foreigners cross the sea to compete in the games. I’m excited.

Until I’m told I can’t compete. That puts me in such an awful mood that I escape the palace with my friends atop my winged unicorn. We journey through the forests under Mount Olympus. This sojourn risks our lives, halting the games. Well, I don’t learn my lesson. I defy my mother, the queen, once more in tournament.

While eventual triumph shields me from punishment, it doesn’t protect me from a terrible secret. A secret so terrible that I promise, I promise you, I will rebel again. Even if it means disobeying the gods themselves.
