#1 The Stars are a typical American family with their share of typical American family issues. They were living in chaos, and their six kids were constantly fighting. They decided to turn to Agile development, a system of group dynamics in which workers are organized into small teams, and they convened for a longer gathering at week’s end to critique how they were functioning.

#2 Family meetings, which are held weekly, have been shown to improve communication, productivity, and stress levels. They also make everyone much happier to be part of the family team.

#3 The family has endured many changes in recent years, but overall, people are still very satisfied with their family life. The most important element of people’s lives is still the family.

#4 Jeff was determined to design a new system in which ideas would not only flow down from the top but also percolate up from the bottom. Around 1990, he read thirty years of articles in Harvard Business Review before stumbling across one from 1986 called The New New Product Development Game.
