#1 Tom was so absorbed in his game that he didn’t hear Shirlee vacuuming upstairs. When he did, he was shocked to find a drunk man outside of his door, swaying and holding a knife.

#3 When Dr. Hunter arrived at his house, he was greeted by the sound of gunfire and bombastic music coming from the basement. He went downstairs to find Shirlee Sherman, his housekeeper, covered in blood.
