#3 I was always the class clown, and I was never taken seriously. I was always getting in trouble because I was constantly goofing around and trying to make people laugh. I was completely off the hook owing to then-undiagnosed ADD.

#4 I was a complete stranger in my body. I was tall, and I did not feel pretty. I spent so much time wishing I could have another body and resenting the one I had. I began to get the feeling that people envied me, but I didn’t see my womanly charm in my flat, curveless body.
