"Once we start to think of the mind as itself consisting of a kind of "space", which other fields of influence can shape, distort, or form pathways within, there are many obvious parallels with the physics of the cosmos." Quote from our guest today Phil Mollon, who is currently with this new book: "The Physics of the Mind – New Perspectives for Psychotherapists, Healers and Seekers", 2026, by Karnac Books. Phil Mollon, PhD, is a psychoanalyst, clinical psychologist, and energy psychotherapist. He is well-known as a writer and speaker on topics including shame, trauma, dissociation, self-psychology, and EMDR – and has pioneered the development of psychoanalytic energy psychotherapy. TAP in as we speak about: • How the human mind is a fractal of cosmos • Quantum in the dreamworld • Therapy and superposition • The unified field is a self-organizing living system • How information is stored holographically and the structure of the brain follows a holographic pattern and minds are organs for dealing with information! • The physics is as usual a little beyond my understanding (Mannah here) so here is a qoute from the book to help: "The mind and brain display quantum qualities. Although the brain influences consciousness, there is also a way in which consciousness selects brain states in both self and other." This is when we speak of the primacy of consciousness • What does it imply that we are plasma? • The concept of mental radio • In closing Phil shares something to reflect on; the parallel of the speed of light and of thoughts (Here is a quote from pga 62 that underlines that: "A computer with a slower processor can do most of the same tasks as a faster processor, just more slowly. Many educational systems fail to recognise neurodiversity and the relativity of different brains and modes of learning (Forchelli et al., 2022). Moreover, there can be advantages in slowing the presentation of information right down, as in meditation. The equation indicates that as the movement of conscious focus slows towards a point, intelligence expands towards infinity!") I hope you were inspired!!
