Kimberly Reid

In 2015, Kimberly Reid experienced a significant setback in her professional capacity which occurred at the same time she was going through a divorce. These pivotal and emotional life changes helped transform the way she viewed her outside circumstances trusting and knowing something much larger was at work for her on the inside. 

Throughout her journey, Reid leaned on her spirituality to build resilience through faith, prayer, meditation, and mindfulness while maintaining a positive outlook on an unwelcoming situation. Root Down and Rise Up is a story of starting over again, by turning obstacles into opportunities and invites you on a journey to reflect on your experiences that provide insight, hope, and healing through some of life’s difficult challenges.

In her debut book, Reid shares her story of resilience while weaving moments of divine intervention that occurred throughout her setback that continued to affirm for her that she was on the path she was meant to be on. Over time, these moments and messages slowly revealed powerful lessons of how she was to use what happened to her to serve in a much greater capacity.
