Poirot has less than a week to solve the crime and prevent more murders, if he is to escape from this nightmare scenario and get home in time for Christmas. Meanwhile, someone else – someone utterly ruthless – also has ideas about what ought to happen to Hercule Poirot . . .

PitkäveteinenIf there would be an another dimension and in this Hercule Poirot, Mme Hannah could write all Hercule Poirot stories. In this dimension, nevertheless, we have Agatha Christie's sparkling, inventive, ingenious Poirot and this is not Poirot already second time chasing and sending to hangman mentally ill ladies. In this dimension, in another reality if you wish, Poirot is narrowmindendly obsessed with retaliation. Scotland Yard hasn't Japp anymore and Hastings is never mentioned. Hard to understand the story takes place in 1930ies England, one thinks the year is 1993. First 3 books were rather interesting, 4th, King Fisher Hill, basicly same storyline with same kind of ending, chock and dissapointment and this one just dissapointment. The reader is good. For this 2 stars
