Bionic Bug: A Mystery Novel

Is justice for a friend worth a deal with the devil?

When former special operator Lara Kingsley’s best friend mysteriously drops dead at a crowded baseball game, she vows to bring his killer to justice. But her harrowing search uncovers far more than she bargains for.

Racing to unravel the mystery, she finds herself becoming deeply entangled in a new technological world of remote-controlled beetles, gene editing, and the Dark Web—the notorious underground of the Internet.

Her investigation leads to a rogue scientist with the answer to her friend’s death. But when she uncovers his plan to unleash the ultimate biological weapon on the nation’s capital, she’s faced with an impossible choice: enlist his help to solve her friend’s murder, or stop him from killing thousands of innocent people.

Bionic Bug is the first book in the Lara Kingsley Series, which weaves together elements of mystery, techno-thriller, and science fiction and is set in the near future.
