Search and Rescue Dog Trainer, Eve, relies on instincts and intuition to let her know when someone is telling the truth, and when her new friend, April, shows up uninvited to a bonfire, claiming that there’s a serial killer in Granite, Eve is skeptical. Someone surely would have noticed if there was a serial killer doing dastardly deeds in their small town.

But when April backs up her claim with evidence, Eve thinks that she may actually be correct.

The victims haven’t been locals, but young people from hours or even states away who were lured to Granite by a fake dating profile. No bodies have been found, but if a serial killer is in their midst, it’ll be up to Eve and her clue-seeking friends to uncover the truth before the killer strikes again, even if it ends up being one of the most dangerous things they’ve ever done.
