Deception's Snare

All Gabriella wants is love, and a happy, safe life, but when someone evil plays with her memory, it's nearly impossible to reconcile the two epic loves of her life. This is especially true when the memory loss leads to the deception of her heart.

Being a siren-fairy-human has its perks, but when Gabriella's deposited in a forest alone, not knowing the rules, and with some of her powers missing, it makes survival very difficult. This is particularly true when she finds out she's been incarcerated for unknown reasons—at least, she can't exactly remember them. Her only defense is to try to survive, but she has a tiny problem … a new rule in her life. She keeps shrinking unless she gets with a man. When Leif appears, all her problems seem like they've been solved. Plus, it's certainly not hard to fall in love with someone incredibly heroic and genuine like Leif—that's the easy part.

From prisoner to the surprise of impending royalty, the course of Gabriella's life gets altered in ways she never expected, sending her down zig-zags that keep shocking her. She's no stranger to strife and the need to fight, being a warrior herself, but she doesn't like being toyed with, especially when she's not clear who her enemies really are. Her tenacious nature means she refuses to give up, however, because she's never been easily defeated.

Her slice of the ocean, which once seemed a safe home, becomes a turbulent, wretched place to be. No amount of effort seems to help, not when an unseen villain keeps treating her like a pawn in a larger game.

Finally regaining her memory, she realizes recollection alone isn't the answer, because then she must decipher who she really loves—the man who saved her or the one she's only now remembering.

The problem is, life is horrible when the mysterious evil isn't done with you just yet.
