Assisted by her farming neighbors and the handsome textile scientist analyzing fiber samples, Wooly uncovers a scheme involving fleece substitution, fraudulent micron counts, and a black market for stolen championship wool. From suspicious staple lengths that reveal blended fibers to grease content that doesn't match the breed, every lock of wool tells a story.
