The Missing Island

Amanda Emike-Jones is pretty sure her husband’s been kidnapped.

Everyone thinks she’s being dramatic. He’s only gone on a two-week cruise. But Amanda knows something’s wrong.

And she just so happens to be right.

John Emike has been snatched and taken to a lawless tropical island, shoved into a dorm at gunpoint, and stripped of everything except his wits and a half-charged iPhone.

His only ally? A sharp-tongued cruise guest named Lucy, who seems far too comfortable committing crimes. And flirting with him too, even with his ring still on.

Meanwhile, against all sound judgment, Amanda drops everything and drags her family into an international search mission to find John and bring him home.

But the harder she looks for him, the further away he seems. And the worse she gets.

She’s an overprotective travel nurse. He’s a below-average telecom engineer. They aren’t qualified at all. The Emike family are in over their heads.

So, can Amanda really pull off the international heist of a lifetime?

Can John survive long enough to be found?

The Missing Island is a fast-paced, heartfelt, genre-bending rescue story. For fans of character-driven thrillers, absurd plots, and chaotic main characters.

This isn’t going to go well.
