The country mouse follows its cousin to town. After a series of adventures, the two reach the table to find that the food is tasty. There is plenty of it, too. But a cat and a dog bring danger. Will the mice escape the dog and cat? Will the country mouse return to its home?

A family lives in a small village. Everyone in the family must do his or her part to provide for the family. It is the youngest son's job to herd the family's sheep. He must be very careful because a wolf is nearby. But the boy does not believe there is danger. He is bored with his work. He decides to trick his family and cry, Wolf! even though the wolf is not there. The family comes to him and is angry that he lies. The boy promises not to lie again, but he does anyway. He loses everyone's trust. When the wolf really arrives, no one believes the boy's cries. Will the boy save himself and the sheep from the wolf?

Hare thinks the challenge is silly. Can slow-and-steady Tortoise beat faster-than-fast Hare?

But the mouse pleads for its life. The mouse claims that one day it may be able to save the life of the lion. The lion laughs at that. How could a tiny mouse save a mighty lion? But the lion decides to free the mouse anyway. Later, the lion is caught in a hunter's net. The lion cannot escape. Can the mouse save the lion from the hunter's trap?

A traveler wrapped in a cloak walks down a lonely road. The north wind and the sun watch from above the traveler. They wonder which of them is more powerful than the other. The wind and sun make a bet to see who can get the traveler to remove the cloak. They both try their best. The wind blows with a truly powerful force. But what can the sun do? Can it win the bet by being the first to make the traveler remove the cloak?
