To prevent it, they must find the Sunstone, a mythical artifact hidden on a mist-shrouded island.

But Lysander hunts them relentlessly, and a desperate sea battle leaves Kallias lost to the churning waves. Grief-stricken, Ariadne unleashes the Chronika’s full power, erasing Lysander but scattering the scrolls across time. Now, armed with a celestial map and a device of unimaginable power, she must journey through Renaissance Florence, ancient Egypt, and a dystopian future, battling rival time travelers and confronting the chilling consequences of her choices, all while searching for the lost scrolls…and a way to bring back the warrior who stole her heart. But a far greater threat looms, a being neither god nor human, the very entity that created the Chronika – an embodiment of time itself.
