The daughter is tiresome. In trying to portray her modern, the author has made her wild, thoughtless and really unlikeable. Really poor characterisation of her as a detective’s sidekick. Story is good except for this girl’s parts which were incomplete and frustrating. In fact all the characters are cardboard cutouts with no real personality.
