Phlebology, the branch of medicine dedicated to the study of veins and vascular health, plays a critical role in understanding the complexities of blood circulation and the disorders that can affect the venous system. Medical pioneers began to recognize the critical role veins play in maintaining overall circulation, and with the advent of new diagnostic and surgical technologies, the treatment of venous disorders became more effective.
