A Simple Guard

What if the greatest threat to your safety was the one who swore to protect you?

He took the job for its simplicity. A bodyguard with no name, no backstory, and no questions asked. His instructions were clear: watch, wait, protect. No one told him who he was protecting, and at first, he didn’t care. It was just another job.

But this was no ordinary assignment.

His boss trusts him completely, blindly even—an unwavering faith that defies all logic. Yet, deep down, he knows he doesn’t deserve it. He’s the first to admit he’s not the smartest man, and he’s certainly not the most qualified for the job. But that doesn’t matter. What matters is keeping his boss safe… at any cost.

He’s willing to do anything—lie, manipulate, even sabotage his boss’s dreams—all in the name of safety. Because in his mind, the world is a dangerous place, full of risks that are better left unchallenged. And if that means his boss lives a life half-lived, well, that’s a price he’s willing to pay.

But what happens when the man he’s protecting starts to wake up? When he begins to see the cage built around him, crafted not out of malice, but out of misguided love?

What happens when the protector becomes the prisoner?

A Simple Guard is a psychological thriller that takes you deep into the mind of a man whose greatest enemy might just be himself. A masterfully woven tale of loyalty, control, and the thin line between love and obsession.

Will he let go before it’s too late?

Or will his loyalty turn lethal?

Dive into this gripping tale of trust, paranoia, and the shadows lurking within. Perfect for fans of psychological thrillers and mind-bending narratives.
