Almost has never won

‘Almost’ has never won When the life of timid Elly is disrupted by a suspicious phone call, she has to investigate. What she discovers is beyond belief. Is this really happening, or is it a sick joke?

When her dream partner, Evert, turns out to not be the man she thought he was, Elly seeks answers from Eva, the woman she thinks could be behind her turmoil. Has she been blind to the truth this entire time? And who is the mysterious Madam Ashley, seething with revenge?

It’s time for Elly to face the truth: Can she stand up for herself and escape this nightmare, or will she remain forever trapped in a bizarre web of intrigue, lies, and deception? ‘Almost has never won’ is the first part of a two-part series about betrayal, deceit, and manipulation – but is perfect to read as a standalone. This gripping tale weaves truth with fiction alongside a generous dose of passionate lust.
