This is the second time I'm listening to this series and I'm truly enjoying it even more than the first time. I think it's one of the best litrpg's around, as its not so much about all kinds of freaky monsters, but rather about building up a civilisation through strategy and cunning trade deals. Really well thought through. Plus it's always a bonus when narrated by Neil Helligers.

If you like colony sim games then this is a fun book. There is always something happening and the main character constantly has to figure out solutions to his new problems. Often these are quite interesting, but it does feel like he sometimes gets what he wants too easily.

Great book for civilization fans . The world is like a magic civ game and it fuels my imagination. main character is bit boring but he does help with the good world building.
