Nice but a bit to slow for me

A good love story. I didn’t like the first third that much, but the rest was very good and convincing. Very well narrated!A year later: I’ve just finished this book for the second time. I don’t normally “read” books more than once but I kept coming back to it. I enjoyed listening to it for the second time very much. I’m even surprised to read in my first review that I didn’t like the first part of the book the first time I listened to the story! I think the author did a such a good job describing learning to know one’s own preferences, being surprised by them, struggling with them and with what the world will think of it, fighting one’s own insecurities, etc. In this story all these things are under the scrutiny of the fan base, people who might be not very tolerant. All of this make the dilemma’s stand out even more and it keeps my thinking about them. About the dilemma’s people (famous or not) are struggling with and I think stories like this one enables us to accept each other.
