Somewhat short and distracted, the passage of time is slightly confusing at times he and the main character, perfect men thing that can do no wrong, is suddenly WOKE towards chicks. He sleeps with everyone's fave love interests from first book just for her to be strong player chick that is just like him only in it for the benefits, not love. After which the book just sort of forgets about her to make some suggestions about other female characters. Seriously he legit seemed to have a crush for two pages between both books, but pfffg! Men don't have feelings! Especially not men that had shitty hard lives! Seriously book, calm down. Hope it's not going to do this the next several books, basically repeating it's formula over and over where he sleeps with a chick, does a monster and some random side plot resolves way to easily because main is god mode.
