Dit is een heerlijke reeks boeken geweest. Doorloopt een groot deel van de vorige eeuw. Je wordt mee genomen door die tijd, met als rode draad het leven van de hoofdpersoon. Ook kreeg ik een beter inzicht in de Engelse staat en aristocratie. Goed voor je Engelse taal; het is fantastisch voor gelezen.
