Vacation Murder

A former librarian turned detective. A clever orange cat. A family vacation interrupted by murder in a charming seaside town full of secrets.

Jim Butterfield is cherishing every moment with his daughter Sarah and her family during their long-awaited visit to Oceanview Cove. Between lazy days at the beach, exploring local attractions, and evening board games, the vacation is everything the family had hoped for – even as Ginger endures the non-stop attention from Jim's enthusiastic grandchildren. But their peaceful family reunion crumbles when a body turns up at the newly opened Oceanarium, and all evidence points to Sarah's husband Tom.

With Sheriff Miller eager to wrap up the case quickly, Jim, Ginger, and the entire family find themselves reluctantly drawn into the investigation. As they uncover layers of secrets, they expose business rivalries, hidden affairs, and an unexpected connection to a tech company from their past cases.

Can our detective duo – now with the help of junior investigators – solve the case before Tom's vacation becomes a permanent stay in Oceanview Cove's jail?

Vacation Murder is the ninth book in the Jim and Ginger cozy mystery series full of twists and fun. Perfect for fans of Agatha Christie and Richard Osman.
