This is my favourite queer apocalyptic book ever or just my favourite book as of now. I enjoyed this so much and it could've gone on forever if it was up to me, I was actually sad it ended (I defenitely need a sequel). Although the story was scary sometimes as the book is set in an apocalyptic world, it was also funny, sad and romantic. It made me laugh, shiver and also feel butterflies in my stomach. The emotions in the book were so real and it made me feel for the characters. I defenitely reccomend anyone to pick this book up, you won't regret it!

I loved the book! Especially so close after Covid, it felt so real and possible yet still far enough away to not be sad or depressing. The queer representstion was very realistic and so damn cute! I couldn’t get enough of it! The ending was also not as expected imo. I was expecting other things to happen so it was also nice and surprising :)Definitely recommend reading this book! My best friend is gonna gove me an annotated physical copy of it now because of how much I loved the book. I want to own it and have it on my shelf!

this is the book that got me into reading !! it was such an emotional book that put me through a rollercoaster while reading and i legit could not sleep until i read it all. the slowburn romance was amazingly written and laid on the fine line between "it's-taking-too-long" and "how-did-that-happen-so-quickly" which i love !! i saw myself alot in andrew too in this book, it's the most relatable you can get in a post-apocalyptic book HAUAHAUAHAHHA the main characters are also so likeable and you cant help but root for them. im really attached to this book, more attached than id like to admit. all in all, an amazing and very addicting book !!

I went into this with fairly low expectations, just eager to listen to another queer story to kill time with. But I was extremely pleasantly surprised by how engaging and moving I found this book. And impressed with the author's sense of timing the narrative. Highly recommend!

I love this book, it's nothing complex but it's well thought out and it does make you think about what's worth sacrificing for survival with a sweet slow burn romance at it's center.I'd love to see a book focussed on some of the side characters up until when they meet the main characters or even their perspective on some of the events.
