Wens je de slag van Waterloo te beleven ? Dit is een goede "samenvatting" van één van de belangrijkste veldslagen uit de Europese geschiedenis. Beschrijving van de Belgische campagne van Napoléon met de succesjes in aanloop naar een nederlaag . Afwisselend bekeken door de ogen van verschillende deelnemers. Het boek geeft inzicht in de strategie van de betrokken partijen en toont aan waar goede of foute beslissingen werden genomen door maarschalken en generaals die uiteindelijk leidden tot de val van l'Empereur.Begeesterend voorgelezen in een zeer begrijpbaar Engels. Toch noodzakelijk om ook eens een kaart van de veldslag te bekijken vooraleer te luisteren. Anders is het moeilijk om de verschillende situaties te kunnen plaatsen.
