Because You’re Mine

A missing husband. A recent spate of attacks on gay men in the Swedish capital. And a daring P.I.

Private investigator Gunvor Ström is probing a new missing person case. Eva Cedergren's husband, Per, son of a wealthy shipowner, has mysteriously disappeared from their residence on the island of Nämdö in the Stockholm archipelago.

Meanwhile, at a bustling nightclub in town, rookie investigator Aidan encounters the secretive woman Marie, who is anxiously seeking information about her friend, missing for a whole week.

As the two cases unfold, a dangerous pattern emerges. Are the incidents connected? And if so, will Gunvor, Aidan and her two young assistants David and Elin put the pieces together before more lives are lost?
