Enter rising comedian Rick, apparently the only straight white man in TV who doesn’t suck. Despite their age gap and occasional cultural differences they form a ride-or die friendship, ignoring the raised eyebrows of colleagues.

When sordid skeletons start emerging in the entertainment industry, she’s suddenly being asked hard questions about Rick, now a household name and nationally recognised ‘good guy’.
