ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"Reason to Breathe", the first book in the Chandler Sisters series by Deborah Raney, is a heartwarming story about three sisters dealing with grief and change after the death of their mother. Their world is further shaken when their father suddenly announces his engagement to a woman they barely know and reveals his plan to sell their childhood home. Faced with the prospect of losing their family home and struggling to come to terms with their father's decisions, the sisters purchase a dilapidated property with three cottages, hoping to turn it into a successful rental business.
The story follows the sisters as they navigate their complicated relationships with their father and each other, facing unexpected challenges and discovering surprising secrets about their family's past. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, love blossoms between Phylicia, the eldest sister, and Quinn, a family friend and contractor, adding a layer of romance and hope to the story.
