ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
"The Keeper of Lost Things" by Ruth Hogan tells the story of Anthony Peardew, a writer who collects lost objects in an attempt to atone for a past mistake. After his death, he leaves his home and collection to Laura, his housekeeper, tasking her with reuniting the lost things with their owners. As Laura takes on this task, she also befriends Sunshine, a young girl. The narrative weaves together different characters' stories and various lost items, including a red gemstone, a blue button, and a jigsaw piece, highlighting the significance of these small, seemingly insignificant things. The story explores themes of love, loss, redemption, and the interconnectedness of lives. The novel also explores the power of stories and memories.
