She can't go to her boyfriend, Jon. As Chief of Police, he'd have a nasty conflict of interest. The truth is that Ruby looks like the suspect. And there's nothing or no one on the good side of the law that can help her. So . . . she teams up with the mob.

That's right. She calls her nemesis, Benito Lombardi. Call it crazy, but she believes him when he tells her that he has too much respect and if he wanted her gone, he'd take her out openly.

Now Ruby and Rumpus have a whole new cast of characters who are helping them, and they're not all good guys. But they all have one thing in common. They need to find the killer who set Ruby up. Because this time she may have woken up drugged and groggy.
