She gasped because of his angry voice, little by little her eyes moistened and she clutched her skirt and lowered her head. He felt his heart was aching because of the way he shouted but he was just annoyed by her. She kept coming to him with so many lies every day, it was true that they were lovers but everything had changed. His heart didn’t love her anymore, now he only loved his mate so he could not hurt the woman he loved. She again looked at him and smiled painfully, she hid the pain but he could clearly see how hurt she was.
