Nullpunkt: thriller

Stockbrokers’ networks spun by invisible threads, lucrative African oil adventures, a gigantic money laundering machine run by Pakistani organized crime in Norway. The cash flows in as ruthless debt-collectors flex their muscles, polish their baseball bats and pull on their gloves in preparation for their next commission.

An overly ambitious stockbroker receives a beating and flees to London in panic. A well-meaning Norwegian civil servant disappears without a trace into the African night. And when the journalists Bjørnar Nergård and Magdalena Mellomstrand start digging, the vipers come crawling out of their nest.

The story spans from Peshawar to London. From the Guinea Bay to Southern France. And to the dimly lit doorways of Drammen. The year is 2006, the investors’ sun shines like a diamond and the financial crisis isn’t even a cloud on the horizon.

But Point Zero is not only a story about astronomical sums and brutality behind the scenes. It is also about revenge. Distilled, freshly bottled and personal.
