Darkness calls to Aiden, and he’s fighting a losing battle. Since the day he stopped aging, it’s threatened to consume him. He only hopes someone kills him before he gives in to the savage nature fighting for control. Just when he believes he’ll lose the battle, he encounters Maggie, and for the first time in years, he has hope for his future.

After growing up without a stable home, Maggie enjoys the security she’s worked so hard to attain. Everything changes the night Aiden lands in her ambulance. Now, not only does she stand to lose everything, but she’s forced to consider that the mother she believed insane might have been telling the truth.

As their relationship deepens, Maggie finds herself learning to trust another for the first time in years. Just as she’s beginning to think they might have a future, circumstances force them apart.
