After surviving the escape from P3, Channel and Alek travel with the Coalition to regroup and mount another digital attack—this time with the proof they need.

But they aren’t the only ones who want to see the end of the Communities’ reign.

The Vivientes, descendants of ancient tribes in the New Mexican desert see the writing on the wall. Their treaties won’t last much longer, but they aren’t convinced the Coalition is worthy of their alliance.

Meanwhile, Mila and Zayn discover a Coalition contact and finally achieve their goal of making it to the Reals out east.

But they quickly find that the lure of Community promises runs deep, and even the Real world isn’t immune from lies and deceit.

With too many moving parts and a desperate need for resources, the Coalition finds itself stretched thin. Lives are on the line, and the battle-cry calling them to fight at all costs makes their reality more tenuous by the second.

Will Mila and Channel live to see a world built on their ideals? Or is it too late for everyone?
