First published in 1793, “An Evening Walk - A Romantic Poem for Nature Lovers” is a poem by English Romantic poet William Wordsworth. Composed whilst he was at school, the young lady to whom it was addressed was his sister, the poet and diarist Dorothy Wordsworth. Wordsworth was poet laureate of Britain between 1843 until his death in 1850.
