The Little Acorn is on the bough of the tree and is fed everyday. It is happy and well cared for. As summer comes to an end the mother tree tells the acorn that it will need to leave one day, but the acorn cannot imagine why it would do that. The Little Acorn clings closer until one day it can hold on no longer.

The Little Acorn 🌰

In tonight's story, we're sharing an old classic that first appeared in 1850, written by the famous author Charles Dickens. Dickens is known for many wonderful works, including A Christmas Carol, and his stories often capture the magic and spirit of the holidays. This story, called A Christmas Tree, takes us on a journey through Christmas memories filled with imagination and the joy of togetherness. While the original story is quite long and written in the style of its time, we've adapted it to be shorter and more accessible for bedtime.
