Tonight's story is our version of an old classic. The children of Georgetown are excited when Mr. Crumble, a kind baker, opens a shop in their town. He creates a variety of magical loaves, each unique and enticing. As the children buy the bread, some hoard their loaves while others share generously. Tommy, who decides to eat a large loaf alone, finds his bread sour, while children who share their smaller loaves find them surprisingly delightful. Through Mr. Crumble's gentle wisdom, the children learn valuable lessons about the joy of sharing and the true spirit of community.

In tonight's story, we're sharing an old classic that first appeared in 1850, written by the famous author Charles Dickens. Dickens is known for many wonderful works, including A Christmas Carol, and his stories often capture the magic and spirit of the holidays. This story, called A Christmas Tree, takes us on a journey through Christmas memories filled with imagination and the joy of togetherness. While the original story is quite long and written in the style of its time, we've adapted it to be shorter and more accessible for bedtime.
