The movie that started it all...but for the first time in a long time, we're watching it through the lens of someone seeing it for the first time. Is it possible to capture the feeling people in 1977 felt when there had never been anything like this before? Alex, Davis, and Jesse continue their march through old Star Wars canon with an original cut of the first film.

Before Star Wars was a worldwide hit, George Lucas inked a deal with his ghostwriter for a print-only back up sequel, just in case the movie was a flop! Alex, Davis, and Jesse read Splinter of the Mind's Eye, a strange book that occupies a space between canon and an alternate universe!
