A Haunting short horror story Excerpt: Walking up the golden stairs, with clouds on either side. All my burdens lifted, then, I heard a sob behind. The gates of heaven opened, I stop, I turn, I sigh. From my lips comes a moan, as tears fall from her eyes. Heaven would become my Hell if I walk through those gates. I cannot leave my love behind, forever we are mates.
