There she finds that, just like a reflection, everything is reversed, including logic (running helps you remain stationary, walking away from something brings you towards it, chessmen are alive, nursery rhyme characters exist, all to her utter amazement! The author, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll, was an English writer of world-famous children's fiction, notably ‘Alice's Adventures in Wonderland’ and its sequel, presented here, ‘Through the Looking-Glass’.
