But are any of them a match for the headstrong and independent Bathsheba? Mark Healy's adaptation of Thomas Hardy's Far from the Madding Crowd was first performed by English Touring Theatre in 2008. This edition includes notes on producing the play yourself, including advice on cast size, staging, music and accents.
