#3 I had been through enough combat by this point that I didn’t mess around anymore. If I thought there was a credible threat in front of us, we were going in like a Ruth's Chris baked potato - fully loaded.

#4 After the meet-and-greet with the AC-130, there were still two more combatants to find. They weren’t dead in the vehicle, and they weren’t within the typical area of destruction you find after a meet-and-greet with an AC-130 gunship. They could be on foot, stalking us from somewhere beyond the halo of the fire.
