With her farm under investigation and the fiber community buzzing with suspicion, Wooly must herd together the facts. Assisted by her farming neighbors and the handsome textile scientist analyzing fiber samples, Wooly uncovers a scheme involving fleece substitution, fraudulent micron counts, and a black market for stolen championship wool. From suspicious staple lengths that reveal blended fibers to grease content that doesn't match the breed, every lock of wool tells a story.
