The Magical Diaries of Charles Lester Seymour:: A New Eden

On the same fateful day, Gavyn Trevelyan, an arrogant underachiever, unexpectedly inherits a vast fortune from his estranged and recently deceased father, he is subject to a cruel but devastating tragedy, leaving him disfigured, both physically and psychologically, and very much alone.

After which, he retires to his father’s rural estate, Bryngaer, in the heart of Snowdonia, where he discovers hidden journals, detailing how his father and a female acolyte created a continually evolving world of natural beauty on another plane of existence.

Using the journals as his guide, Trevelyan uncovers the means to ascend to this new world, revealing along the way many family secrets, fatal betrayals, and madness. During his exploration of this new world, Trevelyan becomes unwittingly embroiled in an ancient prophecy, only to discover he is in possession of an apocalyptic power he cannot control. He must now seek a way to return home without leaving blood on his hands, even if it means returning to a broken body and mind.
